How Does It Work?

Bowen Neural Therapy (BNTH) works at a deep cellular level to help maintain the homeostasis (normality) of the eleven physiological systems within us. These systems all have to work in harmony with each other (respiratory, digestive, muscular, etc).

When a muscle or group of muscles goes into spasm, caused by an accident, overwork, whatever, the fascia that surrounds every muscle ligament or tendon (a bit like chamois leather) shrinks. Nerves that normally have their own space as they travel near to or through a muscle get squeezed. The nerves send a pain message to the brain advising that something is amiss.
